Among the galaxy of the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu ‘anhum), one illustrious and great Sahaabi was Sayyiduna Mu‘aawiyah bin Abi Sufyaan (radhiyallahu ‘anhuma). It is very sad and unfortunate that despite the greatness of this Sahaabi (radhiyallahu ‘anhu), a lot of negative propaganda is circulated regarding him even up till this day. Some sincere Muslims unwittingly fall for this trap as well and end up believing these incorrect views.
This booklet is a humble attempt to explain the greatness of this noble Sahaabi (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) and to clear some of the misconceptions regarding him.
